Design Architect · Sobha Ltd
I am a Design Architect from Tamil Nadu, currently working with Sobha Ltd. This portfolio presents selected office and personal-practice work across residential, clubhouse and commercial projects.
I work across form, material and light, with a focus on clear design and precise presentation.
Previously at BIAS Architects, I contributed to residential developments through planning, design studies, presentations and documentation.
In my personal practice, I lead the architectural design and visualisation of Thirunedungulam Illam, Nathi and Karanthai Thottam.
My father, Pazhanivel Karuppaiyah, is a carpenter in Trichy. He introduced these projects and oversees the carpentry work.
My first design mentor at BIAS Architects, Imran introduced me to the discipline of architectural design as a fresher. Under his guidance, I contributed to planning, concept studies, massing, modelling, facade design and presentation.
That early experience shaped the way I develop ideas from the first study to a clear concept proposal, using Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper.
At Sobha Ltd, Luciano Landaeta’s direction continues to shape my work across planning, design development and facade design.
